Their office also has 3-D printers which allow the engineers to get a better handle on the design. You can also find  gadgets like “bite valve” testers that simulate continuous biting down on their lids. Employees report on any stress or cleaning challenges by running their bottles through their dishwashers. SF Gate shares a quote from CamelBak’s VP of research and development, Jeremy Galten, “Performing product testing firsthand, and being able to witness this live, makes for better designers and engineers.”  For example their Forge bottle clips are tested for durability and run through 90,000 cycles to make sure they last.
