Bellyfull’s CEO Kelly O’Grady Is Her First Best Customer

Wayne: So you actually became your first best client?

Kelly: Yes, I knew Bellyfull Dinners was a great idea and I knew that I had the skills needed to get the business off the ground, both on the food side as well as the business side. I knew that people would appreciate having an option like Bellyfull. The option to not have to think about what to have for dinner and the convenience of just having it done for your. I want our customers to be able to spend more time doing the things they love doing. It’s really life changing for them with a few extra hours per day to enjoy with their families, exercise, hobbies or whatever is they want to do. This possibility made me passionate about creating this business model. So I took the risk, quit my job and started the business. I had a lot of support from my family, friends, and other professionals in the industry.  This helped me to make the right decisions that has brought us where we are today.

Wayne: I am sure most of us would love to have a personal cook at home and probably can’t afford one, tell us how Bellyfull is even better than that?

Kelly: That’s so true! Bellyfull is just like having a personal cook at home but even better! Our dinners are more affordable than hiring a personal chef, which could cost thousands of dollars every month. Our dinners start at just $15 for Pay As You Go, and as low as $9.75 at the highest plan. Family dinners for four people start at just $45. Having only one choice (or sometimes two, with Be Fit) each night makes the decision for dinner even easier. It’s like having a personal chef, your mom, and your favorite food all in one. It doesn’t get much better than that. Our chef, Loren Ho is amazingly talented. He creates a variety of comforting dinners that hit all the comfort food flavors. He has an incredible attention for detail so the dinners are delicious and meticulously hand crafted. He is happy to have become Petaluma’s personal chef!

Wayne:  Tell me about your experience in helping a Petaluma Family in need and anything else you are doing in the community?

Kelly: Yeah, we were so happy to be able to help the Martinez family when their father went missing. I can remember many times in my life as well where we would get food together for a family friend who was going through a tough time, so it feels good to know that I can do that on an even larger scale now with Bellyfull. The family enjoyed the dinners so much that they are still getting their Bellyfull. We send out a lot of dinners as gifts from people in the community to families that are going through tough times, or are recovering from an injury or surgery, as well as to new parents, and the elderly. If there is ever an opportunity for us to help a family or person in need, the team always offer to bring them a Bellyfull.
